Hi, I’m Cy — the storyteller behind Breaking Cycles.

In July 2024, I quit my corporate job, moved into my Land Rover Defender, and started driving west from Hong Kong. Over 60,000km and 27 countries later, I’m still living on the road — but now with a new mission.

Breaking Cycles is documentary storytelling — the work behind the change.

A project about what it really takes to leave comfort and build a life that feels like yours.

I’m starting a business from scratch while living on the road, and documenting the process as it happens.

MY MISSION

I started Breaking Cycles after 15 years in the corporate world to chase a different path — one led by freedom, creativity, and meaning.

After 27 countries and 500+ days on the road, I’ve seen how powerful stories can connect us — and how change is never just one brave decision. It’s what you do after.

Breaking Cycles is my documentary of rebuilding life outside the “safe” path, and learning how to make it sustainable. I’m starting a business from scratch while living on the road, and sharing the real work behind that change as it happens.

My mission is simple:
